Saw this on Comingsoon.net recently. I see it's a bestseller 15 book series already so it looks as if there's potential for another spy franchise in the vein of Bond or Bourne here. Casting seems decent.

I'm looking at reading one of the books to see if it's worth reading the series or even seeing the movie once it comes. Anyone read them?

Heard of it but never got around to reading one. I think it's probably horses for courses, some people love them, some regard them as trash. I think I've read somewhere the struggle for an adaptation of these has been going on for years, only there has always been a rival going strong either on tv or cinema, so it took some time for these books to find their way out of development hell.

Just read the book, not bad.  Mitch Rapp is more Bourne than Bond, but not bad
