OO Heaven was great though leaves me very confused as to what 7 has the rights to and what 10 does. Liked Rob Lowing's review in the SMH - "not a great bond outing" and gives it 4/5 stars.

Ten has the rights to every 007 film up to and including Licence to Kill except for perhaps Octopussy - I have never seen this film air on free-to-air TV, despite others going to air twice or more times in recent years. Presumably, Octopussy belongs to another station [Nine?]. Ten also has Never Say Never Again [and, naturally, I take it no one wants Casino Royale ].
Seven has the rights to the three Brosnan films so far. It used to have rights to several of the older films but over the last few years, these have been picked up by Ten.
Hope that helps.
The Sunday Mail said The Spy Who Loved Me was "one of the Roger Moore's better outings in his Bond role" and "much more fun than most". The film got three stars out of four.
The fact that these films pop up every couple of years - sometimes more often - is testimony to Bond's popularity in Australia. There are only a handful other films that are up to 40 years old and still get aired in the prime-time 8:30pm timeslot. Heck, Tomorrow Never Dies aired three times on a Sunday night, the coveted night for movie premieres. Now that's saying something.

Good points dark. Channel 10 seems to have most up to LTK but then Seven still has Diamonds are Forever (a film which on last viewing went from being my 2nd worst to one of my best Bond's) which they trot out a fair bit. Always love 7's advertising for their Bond premieres, they seem to like the 007 - channel 7 r'ship. Goldeneye - "take james bond, double the action, double the adventure and multiply the excitement by 7"

And yeah never ever shown octopussy. I can't for the life of my figure out why, its one of the more famous bond's thanks a lot to its infamous title.

Actually, Ten now has Diamonds are Forever as well. Seven used to trot out that and Live and Let Die ad nauseum, but Diamonds aired here a few months back on Ten.
At some time or another, from when 00 Heaven first begun in October 2000, all Bond films have aired at least once except the aforementioned Octopussy and Casino Royale.

Seven sold the rights to 10. But I think there could be a clause in it. They've kept all the rights to Bros' films.
Im not sure about the clause, I've got a friend who works for ten who was telling me about it. I was under the impression they could end back up with seven after a certian period of time.

As the ads are touting, "Bond is back in!".
Seems as though 00 Heaven is back! Perfect timing too. Will have confirmation tomorrow of what Bond film is on next week.

It'll be either Ten or Seven. So keep an eye on both.

Kewl, being a relatively new (obsessed) 007 fan, this will be my first "Making of" seen on TV for a Bond film.
Any ideas when it will air? I'm thinking maybe next week, around Monday/Tuesday, but what do I know!
Cheerio,
Chris.
