Is there any truth in the rumour that Stuart Baird (U.S. Marshals) and Stephen Hopkins (Lost in Space) are on the short list of directors to direct Bond 20. I have read this rumour on the net a couple of weeks ago and I am just wondering if there is any truth in it or if it's just rubbish.

Yup Baird is doing Trek X, which I'm looking forward to. I don't know how they could say he saved Tomb Raider, I saw the film and wondered where the plot had gone. I think it hid under a rock!

I heard of him doing Star Trek 10 and it has also been rumoured that Sean Connery will play the lead villain in the movie.

Time to cross Stuart Baird off the list. Looks like he just took the job of directing the next STAR TREK film. Not surprising, as Baird is kind of a hero over at Paramount who feel he "saved" MI2 and TOMB RAIDER with last minute editing.
