Such a cinematic legacy he leaves us with.

RIP. But a good age, and good films.
This year's become utterly ruthless.

Oh dear.
RIP.
As you say, an awful year so far.

Bond would not be the same without you, Guy. You gave it its trademark of humor. Both Lewis Gilbert and John Glen owe that to you.

Always loved his Bond films and often wished he was able to do many more similar justice... When I think of Bond directors, his name was always the first that popped into my head!
Rest in peace, Mr. Hamilton. Thanks for the magic!

R.I.P. Mr. Hamilton. You put the fun in Bond, giving it one more element that the series needed to survive and be loved.

His Bonds have always been favourites of mine. Especially Diamonds Are Forever and Live and Let Die. So jam-packed with awesomeness.
RIP

Guy Hamilton 93
Ken Adam 95
Christopher Lee 93
George Martin 90
Douglas Slocombe 103 (One hundred and effing three!)
I guess they made men from iron back then.

I need to update my Bond Stars Live Forever thread.

There are some nice memories of Guy Hamilton, as recalled by Roger Moore, summarized in 'Memories of Guy' at the JBIFC's website: www.007info
He was clearly a super-cool Bond director. RIP.
