Hilarious and possibly apocryphal. Sean Connery asking for too much money? George Lazenby the #1 model on the planet?

Thanks for that! And, glidrose, you are probably apocryphal. But, George IS the only Bond I met at a convention (not counting Pierce at the GE convention in NYC the day before its premiere, but that appeared to be largely sponsored by Eon, and it was only at the Q&A--not a situation where he was at a table signing). I think I met George twice, at Chiller in 2002 and at the Big Apple con in 2008--both times there were Bond girls also signing. So, who knows how true the story is? Regardless, a very funny story!
