Something else has sparked my interest. Those few shots of the tunnel car crash at the end? Trying to make out who's behind the wheel but it's near impossible. Could be Austria, it's likely to be but maybe it's in London? M seems to be pretty messed up in the latest TV Spot, could be an ambush? Most probably Austria though.

In a way that Skyfall never did, this looks tre-fucking-'mendes'.

At the knackered age that I am, I can't believe how Up for this film I am.

I sincerely hope that the proof comes fully out in the resultant pudding.  Good luck to all in the making....

Magnificent trailer, with a little bit of everything, action, suspense and drama. In my opinion this will be even better than SkyFall (which I loved), it shows that Mendes is perhaps more confident in the action genre.

My only grip is that the cgi of the crumbling building looks cheap, nonetheless this is a trailer  and in the final product will look better I'm sure.

Just re-watched both SF trailers.  Even just from the trailers, you can tell there's more action in SP, and on a larger scale.

Wonder if this film will get a better critical reception than its predecessor.  The only potential "big knocks" I can foresee are if the plot twists & turns are too silly, and the potential complaint of "too long".

UK number plates. Very likely.

Thanking you kindly!

Absolutely love that shot of Bond looking insane/enraged/mad as hell.

Also, call me crazy but it sorta looks like Oberhouser has a facial scar in side shot of him during the glass shooting scene. Probably just the shadows though. ;)

Goes by quite quickly but did anyone notice the new shot of Bond and Madeline on the Thames? What's with the BIG cloud of smoke behind them? Is it THEIR boat or an aftermath of an explosion? Just makes me wonder what could blow up in the middle of the River really, and all I can think of is another boat...

Ah the questions!

Indeed... James Bond looks even more enraged than when Silva destroyed his lovely Aston Martin DB5 in Skyfall.. B)

It has gotta be a scar. We saw tracking dots on Waltz's face, after all.

Correct. They filmed the crash somewhere in the City of London, the financial district for people who don't know London.

Can't believe I didn't even think to look at the number plates.

Interesting! I didn't hear about that at all. If the MI6 Team where to be forced off the road, it would explain M's head injury. Plus, if this is the case could this scene be Bond-less?

I think this is M's action scene near the end, going it alone.

Found the tunnel. It's the junction of Castle Baynard Street and Bennet's Hill.

I agree with the ideas above - it's a Bondless MI6 scene, and leads to Fiennes' injury I guess.

Indeed. Possibly culminating in the scene of the two individuals grappling in the office building at night.

This trailer was better than previous trailers. Also good that they don't give so much away.

Some observations:
- Craig's running isn't what it used to be.
- Seydoux's nose is still red.
- Color correction still annoying, but less so in this trailer.
- Love the fact that Bond is always properly dressed in a suit รก la Skyfall. The casual clothes from CR/QOS are gone.
- Helicopter scene looks insane.
- Have we ever had a Bond movie with so many night scenes before? London at night looks great.
- The collapsing building may be a little bit over-the-top and completely unnecessary.
- My feelings about Waltz hasn't changed. He is miscast as Blofeld, but will probably be a memorable villain for this film.

The collapsing building works for me. I think it injects further excitement and danger to the pre-title sequence, and I think the CGI gets a pass mark.

Waltz miscast as Blofeld? The man's a perfect mixture of Pleasance, Savalas, and Gray. No contemporary actor is more suited to the part.

Agreed. He's going to knock this out of the park. Charles Gray's Blofeld is a favourite of mine. I liked his smug, elitist demeanor. I can see Waltz bringing a lot of that to the table. Being warm and welcoming to his guests, but looking down upon them as inferior and mere pieces on his chessboard. And holding an innate cruelty in dealing with them. I think the Pleasance influence will be the facial scarring. Perhaps the Savalas influence will be taking on a false title/identity?

Yes, he is a good mix of everything that didn't work back then.
I would have liked something closer to the "faceless" Blofeld from FRWL/TB. The closest thing we ever got to that with a live performance was Joseph Wiseman as Dr. No, IMHO.

This casting reminds me too much of Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor in Superman Returns.

Then that's where we part ways. I think all three actors suited the films they featured in.

This casting reminds me too much of Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor in Superman Returns.

I don't follow that. Waltz has an impish streak, but we've been given no indication that Waltz will camp it up like Spacey did.

From what I saw, it seems that Waltz Blofeld does not live on his own but on the memory on previous Blofelds (at least the costum makes it feel that way). Which makes it a little bit parodic and not really threatening)

Woahhhhhh we don't even know he IS Blofeld - let's keep that mystery burning until we get something to confirm or deny that on screen!

And I love that Mexico City building fall far more than I expected, Craig looks super in that sequence - a real sense of danger and it's clear why M is p***ed off with him after causing so much damage!

Even if he is not Blofeld, you can't deny his outfit
