"An excellent choice, Mr Bond."

Interesting music? Nice bit of action Bond theme near the end? Possible first look at the soundtrack?

I hope the actual commercial turns up soon. Looking forward to this one!

That music is pretty great. Since we're not in the spoiler section i'll put this in tags, even though it's probably bollocks but going with the thought that it maaay be from the soundtrack, imagine if that music acommpanied...

Spoiler

Could totally work! Probably not though.

Nice ad. :) Daft fun.

The Heineken 'Skyfall' ad is still my fave so far. :D

Ahhh Berenice.

Love the feel of these commercials for the drinks. All very smooth and stylish. :)

That music is wonderful! Fingers crossed it's going to appear in the movie!

WOW!! Great stuff... Man, even though it's only 8:45am currently where I am, suddenly I'm fancying a vesper martini... :P

Err.. on second thought, I'm actually MORE in the mood for the lovely Stephanie Sigman instead.. :D

The music isn't from the score. The near-total synth quality is the giveaway.

Must figure out how to set up this fantastic system of making vodka martinis in my house.. :P I only just noticed the small spray bottle of vermouth which mixes with the vodka being poured into the glass..and that knife slicing the swinging lemon...genius!!

Having just seen the Heineken ad again (thanks TCR), must admit to preferring it too.

La Marlohe looks wonderfully aloof and bemused by it all.  Acting through, Not acting.

But Belvedere do a lovely job as well.

Yep.

I don't believe the score has been recorded yet. By that I mean the orchestral stuff, not the prelays of synths and processed acoustic instruments.

If so, would that be quite late in the day? Presumably the rough cut will have some music, but perhaps just Newman demos rather than fully orchestrated tracks?

No, it wouldn't be especially late. The Bond production timeline is always very tight.

You have to remember, the film was only locked on the 7th. This would have been the first time Newman spotted it from start to finish with Mendes, Broccoli and the Wilsons. Since then he would have written, re-written, re-arranged and generally added more detail to conform to this cut.

Can't say when the Abbey Road sessions will take place, but in the case of Skyfall this group shot of the late Derek Watkins and the brass section was posted on September 12.

I have a feeling it'll be pushed a bit later for SPECTRE (which also gives Newman more time to score), but who knows. Better keep an eye on Twitter.
