Flint was 24th?!!

But he had five live-in girlfriends, could speak with dolphins, was a master of every form of unarmed combat, a lighter that had 81 different functions. 82 if you wished to light a cigar, and he could stop and restart his own heart! Number 24? Outrageous, good sirs, scandalous even!

Not only that, Von Hammerstein, but the list is full of characters who simply do not belong in a list of spies or secret agents.  They certainly did, of course, get the top of the list correctly done.

Harry Palmer deservedly is up at the top, but Derek Flint should be up there, too.  Since the list includes spoofs, by the way, where is Austin Powers, baby ?

What about that dotty old bird played by Margaret Rutherford in The Lady Vanishes? She deserves a place just for the sheer ingenuity of using bird songs and calls to communicate secret messages.
