Christopher Lee was seemingly an active member of special forces during World War 2. His cousin, Ian Fleming, allegedly based 007 on a few people he had known from the war years. I wonder if Mr Lee featured amongst that list. When filming his Saurman he was told to imagine what a knife being driven through flesh and bone sounded like, he was quoted as saying " I don't have too"

He was a Legend and I don't use that term loosely.

Rest in Peace.
