Second half of the new TV spot, shot-by-shot:
- Bond punches and shoots henchmen in Austria
- Bond watches small explosion
- Bond chases Sciarra through Day of the Dead crowds in Mexico
- ...
I believe this is not a small explosion but light reflecting in water, shining through a cracked door or something like that into a dark room. Could be some kind of boathouse.

Having now seen it in full HD, I think you're right. I'll change my list. There's definitely light bouncing off water there, and I think I can spot some sort of mooring post - possibly the same dock area as featured in an earlier clapperboard.I believe this is not a small explosion but light reflecting in water, shining through a cracked door or something like that into a dark room. Honestly, this is the first good thing I see about SPECTRE.
Keep faith !

Never doubted.

Very cool. I'm guessing another trailer is going to drop very soon.
Or this might just be what they showed at CinemaCon. http://comicbook.com...emacon-footage/

Looks good.

Anyone made a collection of awesome HQ screencaps yet?

Never doubted.
Neither - I expect this to be better than Skyfall.

As much as Skyfall was inherently "classic Bond", SPECTRE is certainly, even at first glance, much more inline with what we'd expect from a superficially "classic Bond."
Which is absolutely fine.

And yes, I see water as well. With red tape in front of it.

And how about that kickass Bond theme rendition? Love that low brass counter-melody thing happening. I know it's just a one-off trailer arrangement, but it really evokes the big digger money shot moment in Newman's "The Bloody Shot" Skyfall track. Which stands out as particularly classic, to me. Feels like a flavour Barry would've used in Goldfinger.

QoS could throw a spanner in the works for some, but it feels like the Craig era is building towards something greater with each film. CR introduced the new gritty Bond and Skyfall introduced a new Q, Moneypenny and M. SPECTRE brings back the well known evil organisation and more of the trademarks, eg. the flamethrower gadget which is also something brand new for the franchise. It seems like the Craig universe is well and truly established and ready to go full steam ahead.

Indeed! Which is why I'm hoping the issue with Sony's expiring distribution rights doesn't delay things and have the momentum grind to a halt between SPECTRE and Bond 25..

What a lovely, lovely piece of cinematic history. Now, THIS is Bond! Love the twist on the line, btw.

Am I the only one getting ghosting/motion blur when I watch the video?

I interpreted the delivery of "the line" as "pre-coital", i.e. his speech slows as he's leaning in for a kiss... and the rest.

Wow what an action packed tv spot. well done!
Posted 10 June 2015 - 06:21 PM
So, does the sudden reveal of a tv spot means we´ll get some sort of early trailer? Mind you, I´m not complaining. After weeks and weeks of desert, finally, some real and official stuff.
Loved the speed on the car chase. Poor, poor Alfa 156, got decapitaded.

Lots are saying this means a new full trailer's about to drop, but I don't know what that's based on. Skyfall did something similar in July 2012 with the Olympic TV spot, but that was July. The film was long overdue for a full trailer by that point.

Looks like the Batmobile will have competition for another screen car with an effective turbo / flamethrower.
And to me when Craig delivers the line, it sounds like he's saying it in a way that Lucia will recognise the name, as if he's saying "Yes, I am THAT James Bond.".
Yes, THE LINE is delivered as a message to be shared with those in charge, I'm assuming right before the chase through Rome.
I don't think so. I think he was saying it more seductively than sending a message.

Skiplane!
"If we don't leave now, we die together."
Choices, choices, Monica!

I don't think he's saying to send a message either. It's more of an attempt at being seductive. I think I'd like it better were it being meant to send a message. Otherwise, it just comes off as being a bit to Brosnan-esque.
I will say this, the film, once again, looks good. Mendes and company seem to have that aspect of things down pat by now, with both Skyfall and SPECTRE looking absolutely brilliant from a strictly visual perspective.

This one on the Sony You Tube page works much better.

I hope there is a very good reason why the AM has to leap into the air to decapitate the other car - as opposed to just a miraculous leap due to cobbles or some such.
