Last weekend I was lucky enough to go to the Bond In Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum.

What made the event special was that I also got to meet John Richardson and Lindy Hemming whilst there.

Here's the review of my adventure on my website:

Enjoy!

Nice one Mr Slate - great review!

I'm hoping to go in the next few weeks as I missed it at Beaulieu, so this is perfect location for me just 40mins away. Can't wait. :)

I saw the exhibition some weeks ago. It's really really great!

Some very original pieces (the Acrostar and submarine crocodile from OP are a must-see!).

But to me, the most fascinating piece was Goldfinger's Rolls. Absolutely stunning! Didn't expect it to be that large and impressive.

I've seen people complain about how short it is as a whole, meaning you can be done in about 15mins for the ticket price.

Is that accurate or more for casual fans who don't linger and take everything in as we hardcore fans would?

If you´re done in 15 minutes you were just rushing from one piece to the next, without really enjoying the thrill of seeing the real cars, planes and props right in front of your eyes.

I can only recommend this wonderful exhibition for every Bond fan who treasures nostalgia.

To be honest, it is quite short and you can pretty much go through it in half-an-hour.

But I spent 2 hours!

I watched and rewatched every little exciting detail. Again and again. And then went for one more round just to get one overall glimpse at all the pieces...

It is absolutely worth it. Not one shade of a doubt. Go. See. It. ;)

Both great points, and 15 minutes to me is just a waste of the exhibition's time as a whole for not taking your time to enjoy it.

Well I will certainly be going and making the most of it, I want look at every detail, ready everything, watch everything and just take it all in.

:)

That's exactly the way to do it! :)

So many tiny details to look at.

For instance, the first time I looked at TLD's Aston Martin, I didn't notice the machine-gun on the front of the car. Only on my second round did I realise it was there! And I loved looking at the inside of the Acrostar.

Plus, you have some story-board original drawings that really are amazingly breathtaking!

So one should really take his time and enjoy.

I agree. I went to the Designing 007 exhibition in Melbourne, Australia and was there for a good two hours or more. Definitely worth seeing this stuff if you get the chance.

Ah I've seen the 'Designing 007' exhibition, that was awesome.

I will report back when I go with my thoughts - and machine gun on the front of 'TLD' Aston? Fascinating!

One thing I'm curious about, they said the exhibition will feature items from 'Spectre'.

Do we remember when the 'Skyfall' vehicles came over to Beaulieu? As I'd like to visit when the 'Spectre' items are there.
