Despite early rumours to the contrary during the Casino Royale filming, Daniel Craig has worn a Dinner Jacket in each of his Bond films (at Casino Royalé in CR, at Puccini's Tosca in QoS and at the Golden Dragon Casino in Skyfall) - does anyone know if there are any filming locations that would require Bond to don his trademark outfit without looking too inconspicuous?

For those who have read the script outlines etc - I don't want any story lines, just possible locations.

Good to hear - Whilst I love Bond in a DJ, I don't think he should wear one for the sake of wearing one - there has to be a reasonable explanation for it.

As Shrublands said, Morocco is the most obvious.

Dinner jacket aficionados, could the warmer climate make it more likely to see a white dinner jacket? Craig's Bond hasn't tried that out yet.

That'd be a treat.

I'd rather they kept to a black or dark blue one.

I think the white one originally used to be reserved for the tropics exclusively. Whether North Africa would qualify as stifling enough climate-wise I can only guess. I don't think it used to. But nowadays anything is possible. And when if not now?

Interesting to see Tom Ford sporting a white dinner jacket.

Button two front on a single-breasted dinner jacket, tsk tsk, Mr. Ford, I thought you knew better.  Lovely jacket otherwise.

I´d say there´s more than a couple of problems with that dinner jacket. Not to mention the bowtie. But I´m sure he can do better.

Let's just remember what was the inspiration for ConneryBond's white dinner jacket: Humphrey Bogart in... Casablanca (of all places) ;)

Erm...

This brings back to my mind Coco Chanel's famous words of wisdom: "When someone is badly dressed you notice the clothes, butwhen someone is well dressed you notice the person"

I'd love for that to happen, and for Craig to join the Connery and Moore white dinner jacket club.

Hah! You got me there, MkB! I really forgot about Bogart there. Can't argue with that. ;-)

Could be in the Mexico City PTS. After all, this will be Bond's big reveal.

I'm in high favor of a white dinner jacket return. Craig could definitely pull it off, too.

He looks fine in the white shirt he wears during Skyfall - en route to Silva's island.
