Very nice interview.  I was thrilled that Chuck was brought up and that Dalton still has sounds so enthusiastic about having done that series.

Thanks, Lady Rose. That was great. :)

Nice to see him being asked about some of the less well-known things he's done for a change, too.

Nice interview.

Also, it seems to settle the debate as to what year Dalton was born in.  The two years I've seen bandied about have been 1944 and 1946.  He states in the article "I'm up there in my 60s" when referring to why he decided to sign on to a TV series.

Alright! 1946 it is. Goodbye 1944, never believed it. Dalton says he was twenty when he joined the Birmingham Repertory Theatre and other theatre sources say that happened in 1966.

Gotta love Dalton's quote in the first interview: "Let me tell you something: If you look up anything about me online, it’s wonderful, it’s beautiful, and it’s all wrong. [Laughs.] They even get my name wrong online! I absolutely love that: The truth is concealed behind a barrier, a wall of lies!"

There's a nice summary of the 'Bond' bits of Tim's AV Club interview over at the James Bond International Fan Club site (www.007info), plus an unsual still of Dalton with Broccoli and Michael Wilson on the set of The Living Daylights.
