Hi everyone.
I could use some help. I'm writting an essay about Craig's Bond era and one of the aspects that I'm finding a lot in the Skyfall part is the "hidden clues" and hints relating artwork through other Bond films and even history.
The thing is...I'm nearly done but since I dont know London very well I cant seem to identify one location that appears on film, especially one statue that appears in that specific shot.
I'm talking about the scene, right after M is writing Bond’s obituary, and a car appears, supposedly with her and Tanner inside, driving near a park where you can hear bells ringing. You see the entire shot on the right of this one man statue. Can someone tell me what statue is that…and is that the exterior of Westminster Abbey? Cause I can’t seem to figure it out.
Thanks in advance!
Location in Skyfall :/

I'm not sure but I believe statue you are talking about is the statue of Viscount Palmerston, He was a British Statesman that served twice as Prime Minister. I believe the statue you are looking for is in Parliament Square? Hope it helps and get a good grade on your essay.

That's quite right. It's the Viscount Palmerston statue in Parliament Square, Westminster.
Just let me know if you need any more advice on filming locations for SKYFALL. I have details of most of them.
