SHADEMAKER

Constellation Studios' third and final Bond film is underway.
Here is the teaser trailer:

The film's teaser poster can be seen here:
http://www.constella...php?rubrique158

In 2007 Constellation Studios released Shamelady. In 2012 Constellation Studios released Shatterhand.

In July 2011, the idea to close a James Bond "sha-logy" was born in the production crew’s mind when a set worthy of Ken Adam pushed us to quickly shoot a scene for 007.

It was the start (and shall be the ending scene) of Shademaker, our third and final James Bond thriller. Another stand-alone scene was written and shot in July 2012. Since then Eric Saussine wrote a script that allowed the crew to shoot for an entire week six months later, just before Shatterhand was released.

Shademaker’s raison d’etre was to close the story started in both previous films and to take advantage of the new High Definition formats that were not made available to us until after our second tribute James Bond movie.

Non-professional special effects are sometimes inadequate. So this final entry will be more of a thriller in spectacular settings - not devoid of a few VFX - rather than vainly trying to be "something big". We certainly hope you'll like it. It should be available on the Internet in a year or more.

Stay tuned.

Looking forward to it (and cannot believe your movies are getting relatively little following here on CBn, they are brilliant). Am I mistaken in getting a bit of a 'Skyfall' vibe from this trailer? Old mansion, double-barrelled shotgun, helicopter and all that?

Shademaker was planned before Skyfall was released so the vibe you mention is purely coincidental. However the trailer may have that vibe because the objective is to produce a pure spy thriller as is the intent of the official series nowadays.

From time to time on our movies, we think we have an original idea and as we take a lot of time to craft them, the official series gets past us, using that idea. It's as as frustrating as reassuring for us in a way. The most obvious example is Shamelady that was originally supposed to be... Casino Royale. Two months after we started to write our script, Craig's first movier was announced! We were thrilled but of course we had to adapt.

Can't wait! Also, "2 accidents, one nearly fatal" (on the poster)? Please be safe - great as it will be, it's only a movie.

I wholeheartedly agree ! ;) Our main actor is very serious about physical stuff. He fell out of a rock wall once. He grabbed something at the very beginning - that was fortunate because it could have been a long fall.

You'll see the sene in the pre-titles sequence. Later in the movie you will be able to appreciate the bruises on his shoulder - real bruises.

The movie's release is imminent.

The computer is doing the export right now. More time time will be necessary to put the movie on Youtube. And that will be it - the end of four years of work.

Your appetizer for the real thing coming soon is here.
We hope you'll enjoy the experience.

SHADEMAKER

A passion project and a nonprofit James Bond tribute film, "Shademaker" is a Constellation Studios release.

In one last adventure from a trilogy a James Bond tribute films, 007 finally finds his arch-nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld. The story is loosely adapted from Ian Fleming novels "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".

When Bond loses his memory and finds himself isolated and stranded in the Canadian Rockies in a "Straw dog"-like first part of his mission he will have to find all the resources within himself and can only count on the help of local lodge manager Vivienne Michel to face two mysterious men nicknamed Horror and Sluggsy. The rest of his mission will lead him to Geneva, Switzerland where these two men were last seen. In the shadows, Blofeld has secretly moved back to one of his former bases and plans to ransom the world with one deadly weapon.

Holy F! I loooooved it! I think it's my favourite. VERY ambitious and I dare say you made it work. As usual, you have great production values, actors who look like they belong in Bond world as opposed to teenagers from other fan productions, but those things were a given, I did not expect anything less after first two films. What was completely unexpected though and what blew me away was moments of genuine suspense (especially in the Canadian lodge), and how you intercut some scenes. Your filmmaking skills are progressing... look no further than the the scene where you reveal that Viv is sleeping next to Bond, I loved that. I even liked the somewhat dirty joke with a gushing fountain in Geneva - brings to mind Hitchcock's innuendo from 'North by Northwest'. For some reason I also loved the 'sacrificial lamb' scene (Humboldt's secretary) - I just think every Bond movie needs this sort of scene. And the ending, especially the final utterance by Bond - shivers down my spine.

One could nitpick a couple of things of course, but there is no point. In my book you guys killed it - there is nothing else in the fandom that compares. Your trilogy is truly unique.

Thanks, piotr007, for the nice comments!

And I must say you are the first one to have reacted to the gushing fountain dirty metaphor.

You are the very first!

And I love the final shot in North By Northwest! ;)

Cheers.
