Anyone beside myself (I got the Bond 50 Blu-ray collection for Christmas) ever watched a complete 007 Marathon (including NSNA)??

I have three movies left (DAD, CR and QOS); I had watched SF earlier in the marathon due to a personal request from my father.

Yep - beginning with CR '54, and including CR '67 before "You Only Live Twice."

No reason to leave them out, really. :)

Not yet, but I'm planning to do one which includes both NSNA and CR '67 in 2015, before the release of Bond 24.

My friend and I are currently powering our way through one, including CR 54, CR 67, and NSNA. We're a little over halfway done. It's a different approach, as we formulated an alternate order to watch them in (mostly based on the order of the books), and during some down time at work I created a workbook/scorecard related to each film. It has made it a lot of fun and really makes you watch the movies in a different light.

If anyone is interested in looking at the PDF of our workbook, you can do so here: http://pdfcast.org/pdf/the-quest-1

If you would like to see our personal scores, as well as a cheat sheet on the scorecard, check out my blog post here: http://pdnordgren.tumblr.com/thequest

My blog is very much a work in progress at this point (I have not promoted it or shared the link yet, as I want to build a few more foundation posts/pages), but it's coming along nicely. The movie marathon post is updated, though.

I do it annually. I usually wait till late in the year because Bond to me has always been a kind of autumn/winter/Christmas thing. I include NSNA in the marathon but not the 67 Casino Royale. I no more consider that a Bond movie than I consider Spaceballs Star Wars movie.

However, it seems I am doing a literary Bond marathon annually aswell. Last year I finally got round to reading all of Ian Fleming's originals. I was satisfied with that and thought I would go no further but damn it I miss Our Man. I'm currently building up a collection of the John Gardner and Raymond Benson books and when I have them all in place I want to do a Gardner Benson marathon. Waiting until I've got them all first so I can do an uninterrupted run. Wasn't going to bother but I read Colonel Sun not long ago just for the hell of it... and whilst I didn't think much of it it gave me the thirst back!

Wow, that's pretty interesting, I'll give it a look, definitely.
