Has anyone tried this service?

You can write up your own tale from any of the licensed properties there and you can get published!
Well one of the properties, John Rain (a Japanese-American assassin, similar to Bourne) was intriguing since it was an assassin, the closest thing on there to James Bond. I went to work on something, always wanting to write something about spies, and recently had my own published novella: http://www.amazon.co...in sunlit shade
It is set in Africa for a change instead of the other continents where we always see spy stuff happening.
Published a fan fiction on Kindle Worlds "The Sunlit Shade"

Interesting, didn't know such a service existed. Fitting that Barry Eisler's Rain features, Eisler apparently is very open minded to e-publishing and its possibilities.

He's a splendid guy, his site has some funny stuff too ("God i love writing these") lol... The other one that seemed ineresting was Mongoliad because of the sword aspect, just write up something about ancient history and add in your own story. Might do that next if i'm not lazy. The teengirl highschool ones like pretty little lairs seems simple too , just use what you know.
