One of my friends suggested way back, about a few months after Skyfall was released, that Bond 24 should do something about Mallory and the IRA. Tortured for months etc? Possibly just backstory for Mallory when mentioned in Skyfall, but at the same time, it's there if they want to use it / pick up on it. I'm really interested to hear a bit more about that event, ever since it was mentioned I was completely intrigued.

The articles says it is slated for a 2105 release. I know Roger Moore pulled it off but I think Craig will be too old for the part.

After what I saw of Scotland and Surrey in 'Skyfall', I have faith Ireland will be shot in something with just as much beauty, mystery and atmosphere.

Interestingly, the original article isn't quite so definitive about Ireland being featured in the movie at all, but Logan could easily be inspired over the next few months he's based there.

I don't know much about the IRA but that would be great getting to know more about the new M, what he was involved in and Bond looking into it in.

You know, you don´t have to wait for Bond 24 to tell you something about this thing called IRA. And just in case the film does not take place in Ireland - well, it´s always good to be prepared.
