After the, well at least to me, rather lackluster poster for SKYFALL I thought it could be interesting to find out which movie posters for Bond are your favorites.

Oh, yes - the "Licence Revoked" artwork would have been perfect and a high mark for all Bond films.

 

And the CR teaser - yes, I love that as well!

Interesting here is that, while they both pick up their respective films visual themes, it's basically a fantasy version, something a kid would come up with when imagining the film without having seen it.

The YOLT design is really spectacular - and as far as I could see, it has become extremely rare and is sold on some sites for outrageously high sums of money.

 

So, everybody who has that one in his collection, be happy!

Love these. The TLD one is totally retro. Wish they would bring back the hand painted posters.

I must have collected 50 to 100 of these posters, and framed the Connery UK quads and all the one sheets up through TND.  The holy grail is the YOLT volcano (though I do have the 6 foot French version.)  I sold the two TND ones when I moved (US and UK monochrome monitor version), but will probably re-acquire when I buy a place with more wall space.  It used to be really fun and difficult to collect these in the 90s, but now with eBay and all the reprints, it's just not as challenging anymore.  Plus, the last two were really unoriginal and lazy.  BRING BACK THE PAINTED COLLAGES!

 

It's nice to pair the Die Another day teaser with the gun on ice with TWINE's girl on fire poster.  That last one is my favorite--simple, striking, and an optical illusion to boot (do you see the girl or Bond with the gun first?)

 

Also, has anyone ever noticed that there is a gun in every single poster?
