I have the same question!

What I could find is that the book has  essays about every imaginable subject on Bond mostly written by and for academics.

So I don't know if it is something the average Bondfan want to read or even us bigger fans. Especially considering the huge price.

It's a big gamble to buy it just without knowing what it exactly contains.

Looks interesting but the price tag is a little high for my tastes. Maybe it can be found at a college library?

It's a great though expensive book. I bought it last year and it is brilliant as an in-depth tome with an academic bent, but still very readable for all that. Definitely worth buying as it really does cover every imaginable aspect of James  Bond and a bit more besides. I say bite the bullet and go and buy it.
