It is one year ago when the 2012 Summer Olympics in London started on 7/27/2012, 9pm GMT 0 (London time).

It was on tape delay in the US at 7:30pm Eastern time on NBC, the James Bond segment of the opening ceremony is my favorite, followed by Mr. Bean's acting in an orchestra. Too bad that the NBC edited out the London 7/7 memorial segment. So the NBC coverage of the Olympics sucks!

I was at the gym, not really caring too much.

Well, I was at home outside of London watching it all unfold on TV.

From the opening sequence, to our segment with 007 and the Queen, to all the other memorable acts, it was a night that took me by surprise and surpassed all expectations as a world brought together for 2 weeks.

A truly wonderful moment to be around for.  :)

At home; I was called when Craig was in, enjoyed that scene, and I left as soon as Craig left the helicopter.

I was at a holliday resort and I only watched it, because I knew Daniel would be doing something and the rumour was maybe my favorite band The Rolling Stones would also perform (and ofcourse they didn't). It was fun to see the video with Craig and Her Majesty The Queen, but all the other stuff I didn't realy care for. Although it was also great to watch Ray Davies (from The Kinks) performing Waterloo Sunset.
