I got the idea from when I tried to remove dialogue from a Star Trek DS9 episode. And naturally I use the classic method which means the result is in mono with all the sound effects intact.
And I'm not doing this solely for the listening pleasure of fellow Bond music aficionados, I'm also hoping that it might inspire other people like myself who have been thinking of covering unreleased music.
Unfortunately it didn't work habile or satisfactory on all of my DVDs. Attempts with Dr. No, Goldfinger, Thunderball and FYEO failed.
I will eventually work with more of unreleased music from LTK, FRWL etc. and when it comes to movies that I don't own on DVD (TSWLM, everything post-LTK) I guess I will have to work with Xvid rips on streaming sites. Of course, if anyone would like to supply me with sound rips from their DVDs, it's more than welcome or if they will work with it themselves and post it in this thread.
I saw no point in even trying with Octopussy or TMWTGG as gkgyver's excellent recordings are available online.
