I can see them introducing Blofeld, but in a very subtle (and not cartoonish) manner.

For example, a scene in which we hear (but do not see) the villain. Then, from out of nowhere, a white cat enters the room and jumps on his lap.

Cue the sound of many Bond fans gasping.

Not a very exciting article, but posting for sake of completeness:

Oh how the quality of journalism has fallen - each and every one who has seen Skyfall knows that Ralph Fiennes is the new M, and that article presents that fact as some kind of gossip-y revelation. "Is set to be made 007's manager" - I suppose he already is! He was called M by 007 himself... Sheesh, that piece of lazy research and stupid reporting really got onto my nerves.

And yes, I am very pleased of Fiennes being M.

Really looking forward to Bond 24. Even if it is 2 years away...

I hope to see a more traditional Bond film this time around.

I really like where Skyfall went in terms of story and with the characters.

I think it would be good timing for a straight up Bond film this time though.

Anyway. Looking forward to all of the news about the film in the coming months.

We've had some serious Bond films, can this next one be more outlandish.
I should point out I don't mean as outlandish as in Moonraker or Die Another Day, more along the lines of Goldfinger or Thunderball. Over the top, but not too over the top.

Thanks for the clarity of thought - I am sure they will take this under advisement...

It needs to be over the top but makes sense. I mean Die Another Day this english guy was really this korean guy that went under surgery? I mean c'mon... it needs to be somewhat logical.

Genetic alteration through DNA replacement isn't logical enough for you?

The logical gem in DAD for me was having a cigar factory owner able to tell the chemical composition of a diamond just by looking at it. Suddenly this man is a expert in this totally random yet very specific and useful subject, just to move the plot along.

As I remember he calls Britain his adopted nation, something like that. I've never noticed any more detail than that.

I think there are many parts of DAD that are not logical, at the time it was made 2002, that technology does not seem to exist. Then using some sort of body mask.. sorry I am not buying it.
