Earlier this week on the 8th July there was the death rumour which was denied by Mr Moore's people.

Then today, this surfaces.

Either someone else has started a different hoax (jumping on the band wagon) or it could sadly be genuine, although I severely doubt it as I can't find anything elsewhere.

Don't worry - it's a hoax.

The same report came about for Eddie Murphy a few weeks ago but it seems to change the date to whatever it is when you ready it-

Stupid bloody pranks.

Once again - it's not real. Sir Roger lives on! :)

Good to confirm it's fake. I thought so but there's always that element of doubt. I did find it hard to picture Sir Roger at his age snowboarding.

Yeah that would be awful if any one of the Bond stars passed away. I would be deeply saddened.

He didn't snowboard in AVTAK! There's no way he would be snowboarding at his age.

The second link actually has a little area at the bottom that says it is 100% fake.

Sadly, it's not a case of 'if' but 'when', and I too will be be sorry. Daniel Craig is the only actor to start playing Bond at an age younger than I was at the time.

Still, me old Dad is 88 and still going, so I hope our old boys will keep at it for a while yet.

But Sir Roger, 86, snowboarding? Please...

The same snowboarding accident hoax has been applied to Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Nicholas Cage, Keanu Reeves, Sylvester Stallone and others over the years, so Sir Roger is in fine company!

Yes, why is that whenever some troll decides to spread a celebrity death hoax, he or she was always snowboarding or skiing "in Switzerland" at the time of their untimely demise? Cut it out.

To spread fake news about any person having died is utterly sick and has nothing to do with humor at all.

The person responsible should ask himself how funny he would consider this non-joke if it were about his family.

The problem with it is that it'll continue as long as people continue to believe these hoaxes and spread them around the internet.  It's not particularly hard to do research on these things to prove whether they're true or not.  If nothing shows up on a quick google search or a quick visit to a reputable news website, then it's almost certainly not true and shouldn't be spread around the internet.

From the bottom of the site page:

"about this web site. FAKE... Absolutely, AMC.  Nothing to see here.  Let's move along to more positive developments.
