I would say Casino Royale torture scene. It may not have been exactly his butt that was whooped, but it sure was in a very close spot.

He eventually loses, but Oddjob owns Bond inside Fort Knox. Part of his problem was toying with Bond rather than killing him immediately, especially considering Mr. Bond's rather nasty habit of surviving.
Of course, this is a recurring pattern with many Bond villains and parodied well in the Austin Powers films.

Well, there was that time the upper sixth buggered him senseless but Charlie Higson wisely deleted that incident from one of the Young Bond novels.
