GoldenEye
Very important to the ongoing plot and just a damn fun sequence to watch.

Ist place GOLDFINGER
It's the blueprint for every PTS since.
2nd place TWINE
It's a mini movie in itself

Casino Royale by a mile for me. It's so expertly done and catered to Bond fans. I love seeing Bond earn his 00 status. I love the slick black and white style. I love the creation of the gun barrel moment. And the contrast between how easy one kill can be verses how hard another can be. For me it's never going to be topped.
The real question for me is what comes next.
Second I'll go with On Her Majesty's Secret Service. I really like the book and like a fight scene on a beach at twilight. And I even like the "other guy" comment to lead into the credits.
Third, The Living Daylights. I love Dalton action scenes and the jeep scene is a great way to get things started.

Moonraker!

Moonraker!
Agreed. The pre-titles for Moonraker have always been a favorite of mine.
For my money, the top 5 PTS are:
1. Moonraker
2. The Living Daylights
3. Casino Royale
4. GoldenEye
5. From Russia With Love

For me, it's
MR: the very first one I ever saw on the big screen. Awesome stunts and some of Barry's finest music. Perfect combo.
CR: "Yes, considerably." BANG. Nice to meet you, Mr. Craig.
GF: Just a stone cold classic.
Runners up: TLD, FYEO and QOS (A gunbarrel would have put this one on top, maybe.)

The obvious choice for me is "The Spy Who Loved Me" because I love the snow action of Bond movies (and it has that incredible stunt that after all these years is just as incredible in that it was done for real). However I actually picked "A View to a Kill" because, well it has snow action and even more so than "The Spy Who Loved Me". The one misgiving is the Beach Boys song which (still) seems out of place, but overall I think I'd pick "A View to a Kill."
In a sidenote I think the pre-titles sequences in the more recent Bond movies have lost that important touch. If you compare the more recent ones to "The Spy Who Loved Me", "Moonraker", "Octopussy" and "A View to a Kill" you will see my point. They used to be a very integral part of the Bond movies that fans (at least this fan) looked forward to. Today I feel the pretitles are just treated as another nondescript action sequence.
Indeed, the producers are aware because they extended the pretitles sequence in TWINE to include the boat chase, because, well 007 jumping out of a window didn't seem exciting enough for a PTS.
That's not to say I don't like the more recent ones because "Skyfall" ranks right up there as one of my favorites.
Just my two cents.

For me, it´s TSWLM. Either because it has such a wonderful stunt in it - or because this was the first PTS I had seen at all.
But MR´s parachute(-less) dive is a close runner-up.
I´m also very fond of OHMSS´s beach sequence - a perfect introduction to a new 007, an unusual situation for Bond, and hauntingly scored by maestro Barry.

I think it's Moonraker for me. What a great way to start a Bond film. Done for real and full of excitement.

C'mon, you just can't beat TSWLM !
Then in this order:
GE
MR
CR
TND
And a special mention for TB, which for a moment on first viewing suggests Bond has decked a grieving widow - perfectly directed and acted. The following fight is great.
And of course GF, for the 'Shocking' line alone. But that fantastic line and it's delivery aside it's a humdrum scene as a whole.

Casino Royale. Beautifully shot and paced and ending with the gunbarrel. Simply awesome.
After that:
The Spy Who Loved Me
Goldfinger
The Living Daylights
From Russia With Love
Quantum of Solace

For me it's Moonraker!
The freefall of Bond is briljant. A couple of times copied in other films like Delta Force 2 and Point Break , but never as good as in my favorite Bondmovie.
I can watch it over and over again.
Second the ski jump from The spy who loved me
Third the teaser with the acrostar from Octopussy.

Good to see more mentions for Moonraker's pre-titles. The film itself may be a middle-of-the-road Bond film (not that that's a bad thing), but it's pre-title sequence is top-notch.

It's a very difficult choice. It was a toss up between From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker. I voted From Russia With Love, in the end. I find the whole Hedge Maze sequence one of the best things the series has done. A great introduction to Red Grant, too. Arguably, one of the best Bond henchman of all time.
Also, just throwing this out here. Regardless of it being Blofeld, anyone else have a bit of a soft spot for the For Your Eyes Only PTS? It is pretty thrilling, great soundtrack, too. The film may not be too great, but like Moonraker it has quite a strong pre title sequence.

I liked the PTS of FYEO just fine.
Loved the reference to OHMSS with a somber Moore. The mysterious vicar and the helicopter stunt. Only weak spot was, you guessed it, the line about the delicatessen.
