I remember I started a thread like this 5 years ago regarding the times that the Quantum of Solace soundtrack references Another Way To Die. So in what parts of the Skyfall soundrack can you hear snippets or pieces of the Skyfall theme song? The obvious one is "Komodo Dragon." Are there any others?

Also, slightly related, but the does anyone else get a real Thunderball vibe from the cue in "She's Mine" right after Silva blows up DB-5?

Hmm...I can't think there are anyothers except the obvious one, as you say.

They seem to compensate this with using more of the actual Bond theme, which isn't a bad thing...!

We should have a general thread about cues in every Bond soundtrack.
Like this: http://bondandbeyond...-the-soundtrack

By the way, I think Komodo Dragon is the only song

I might have been hearing things due to repeated listening, but I reckon there's a nod in the theme tune's direction, albeit briefly, in the cues "The Bloody Shot" and "Deep Water". In the first, in the build up to the reference to the actual Bond theme used (it's the bit when Bond is about to jump from the JCB digger to the train.). In the second, it's the bit when Bond is about to fire the flare to find his way up.

As I say, I might be hearing things, but for a moment I thought Thomas Newman was referencing "Skyfall" in both cues I've quoted.
