Hey all,
Things have been quiet for sure as I've been extremely busy. I just finished scoring the tactical shooter Takedown (http://serellan.com/...folio/takedown/), started a game company with some friends (http://www.hatchlight.net) and I'm currently scoring the shadowgate remake (http://www.zojoi.com/shadowgate.htm).
We just recently put out our first game which is free in the app store, it's called Rescue Love Revenge and I did all of the music / sound as well as part of the level design.. so definitely go download it! My music from takedown turned out really well, feel free to check out the main theme here: http://soundcloud.co...down-main-theme
Shadowgate is a very cool project as well... and yes, it's a direct remake of the NES game by the game's original designers! Such an honor to be a part of this project and on top of that, it's some of my best music to date. Speaking of which, we have the rights to use the original NES tunes, so I've been adapting those and utilizing them into the score when I can which has been really fun. You can hear the games main theme below, which is my re-orchestration of the NES titles Entryway / Castle Halls piece... and it's almost a note for note update. My Shadowgate score will be available to purchase via iTunes, CDBaby, and possibly Band Camp after the game releases in the fall. It's going to be a very full release with tons of bonus tracks and alternate takes. Cool stuff! If you're a fan of Jeremy Soules work from the Elder Scrolls series, you'll most likely love my score.
For reference, here's the original chiptune:
I did do some bond music for Renard a while back, so stay tuned . Now, back to Shadowgate.
