Thanks for that link - it must have been really hard for her keeping the plot secret and her demise.
17 years in the Bond universe is something to be so proud of, her legacy will remain! I wonder if there will be a nod to her in Bond 24. Nothing too obvious and in your face, but like the picture of Bernard Lee's M in 'The World Is Not Enough'.

Peeved! No, quite right. 17 years I’ve done it for. I’ve done seven Bond films, that’s not bad is it. High time. I think that you can only hold that position for so long. I think they’d chuck you out, don’t you think MI6 would chuck you out after a while. (laughs) Yes, I’m fine about that. I had a good go.
It was a lot of fun, except sometimes talking about things you have no idea what it’s about, but you know you have to look as though you do.
• What do you think about Ralph Fiennes as the new M in James Bond?
I don’t know. He’s not started yet and I’m not making any comment. He’s a friend of mine.
