A modern day Jaws, in a Craig film..............
Not totally against that, without the slapstick comedy, I could imagine a much darker, horrifying Jaws. Silent but deadly.

I the only one I really care to see return is Blofeld, I was hoping to see Charles Robinson on there.
Valentin Zukosky would only work for me if it was a 5th Brosnan film. So no thank you,
and Pussy Galore wont ever happen because its not to family friendly IMO.

I say "No, thanks" to each.

Me too. These characters are not constants in the vein of Moneypenny and Q.

Of the characters listed, the only one I think might come back is Blofeld. Michael G. Wilson hinted that SPECTRE might return during an interview last year, and Blofeld's fate was never clear cut - not counting the pre title credits of FYEO, when they didn't even acknowledge it was Blofeld who was dropped down that chimney stack.
If he does return, I doubt it will be in a beige Mao/Nehru suit stroking a cat. Mike Myers has parodied that image to death. I see Blofeld in dark gear, and nearer Bond's age rather than as a father figure - a more physical threat to 007, as well as an intellectual challenge.

I love them all on there, and sometimes I wish they hadn't already been used as I would love to see Craig's Bond face off against a former brother in Alec Trevelyan (I suppose we nearly had that with Silva though), a silent, terrifying figure of Jaws who was wounded in a battle, hence the metal plate in his jaw, or meeting fiesty women as he had Vesper with Tracy and Pussy.
I hope we have some more iconic characters availiable for our current Bond to mix with who will go down just as popular in future years.

I want Bond's housekeeper May.
And his secretary Loelia Ponsonby.

Blofeld - yes, Tracy - maybe, Jaws - could be done, Alec - could also be handled well.
But the others... no. Not for me.

Blofeld, played by Idris Elba. Stroking a black cat so as not to offend sensibilities.
By the way, when exactly did Wai Lin become a classic character?
In fact, when did she become a character at all?

Blofeld: Yes please, even if with another name and without the cat.
Tracy: I would like to see her back.
Alec Trevelyan: haven't we already had Silva?

And his secretary Loelia Ponsonby.
And Sir James Maloney, his personal neurologist and physician.
I'd rather not see the non-Fleming characters from the movies re-introduced. As for Blofeld, make a new character with Blofeld's alias, Dr. Guntram Shatterhand. Everything else we've seen before. Pity they killed off Rene Mathis.

I would say yes to Tracy, which would, unfortunately, result in needing to say yes to Blofeld as well.
The rest of the characters in the article? Absolutely not.

Have to agree. Most of those characters are best left alone. They fit in with their own specific time and era of Bond. No need to go back and re-imagine everything and everyone.

006, Tracy, Blofeld, Jaws, Zukosky, Pussy, Dr. No and Wai Lin, all in the next movie?
Do you want to write the script too, Andy?

I would also like to see Dr Shatterhand - complete with his poisoned garden - in a future Bond film, either as an alias for Blofeld or as a completely separate character.

...or they could invent a range of new and interesting characters without baggage - rather than just recycling.

It seems like every henchman following GF was either an Oddjob or Red Grant variation. Also no more MI6 traitors, we've had that and had that and had that.Just like the end of SF, let's get back to work in the new direction.

I think I can envision the plot: first Bond must re-defeat all his previous villains. Then he unlocks the skull-shaped fortress of Dr Wily.

Seems like a random list all cobbled together.
My first inclination is to ask, why reintroduce them? I sincerely doubt that Eon will actually start to make remakes to suit the likes of some folks here at this forum. Besides the obvious reintroductions of M, Q and monneypenny, why are they going back when they are clearly going forward?

I am so against reintroducing characters. I just think James Bond should keep having original people I don't see what's wrong with that?
