Absolutely correct on Jinx.  She shouldn't have made the list.  Neither should Eve, Vesper, or the combination of Bambi and Thumper for that matter.

Well technically, Bambi and Thumper didn't. They just got an honorable mention. But I definitely agree on Eve and Vesper. Jinx shouldn't have either. How were Anya, Miranda Frost and Camille all left off? Same with Pam and Melina. Or Domino and Honey Ryder. SHE ADMITS TO PUTTING A BLACK WIDOW INTO A MAN'S BED TO KILL HIM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!!!!

Well I think they should have replaced some with others for sure in this strange list:

 

9. Pussy Galore out, Melina Havelock in.

 

8. Eve Moneypenny out, Pam Bouvier in

 

5. Jinx out, Camille Montes in

 

 

The rest are pretty decent.

Pussy Galore informs Bond that she's a lesbian. She knows about the Delta 9 nerve gas being lethal and doesn't care. Goldfinger's plan involves countries being forced to by their gold from him.

 

Jinx and Monepenny as femmes fatales?

 

Vesper in #1 place? Never mind the author's rationale, that's still bonkers.

 

Still, we're not expected to agree with the ranking - we're just supposed to waste time discussing it.

Well, Pam does more than Pussy to get on that list. BUT, I somehow feel Xenia should be Number 1 - the amount of times she kills, how she does and her brutality outweighs Vesper IMO.

Agreed. Fiona Volpe and Xenia Onatopp are the stand outs in the category of deadly Bond girls. It's a small scene, but Severine setting up targets interested in buying stolen paintings only to be killed counts as deadly, femme fatale behaviour in the vein of Volpe and Onatopp. More worthy than the likes of Jinx, who I wouldn't have on the list either. Here, I'm for characters the likes of Klebb, Bunt and May Day.

I would agree with those.  

 

Pam definitely deserves a spot on the list, especially ahead of characters such as Eve and Vesper who have no business being on the list.

Deadly, to me, are those girls who know how to use weapons, can fight well and have caused injury or death to others.
