I've compiled a list of Bond girls and I'd like opinions. You can vote here or add anyone I've overlooked. (Please don't add Bibi Dahl!!)

But my over-all, favourite Bond girl from the 50 years is Barbara Bach as Major Anya Amasova, from 'The Spy Who Loved Me' - beauty and brains, with Eva Green as Vesper Lynd a good second.

Well I think Maryam D'abo is pretty. She very goddess in The Living Daylights. I do like a few the others. But here I'm only talking about Maryam D'abo is good when presented the Bond girls a few years I got it my Casino Royale DVD. Which interview most of the Former Bond girls. Including  Casino Royales Eva Green & Caterina Murino.

Excellent choice.  One of the best, to be sure.

 

Since it seems like others are doing a ranking of the top Bond girls, I'll make an attempt at it as well:

 

1. Carey Lowell
2. Claudine Auger
3. Eva Green

Kara Milovy, for sure - fresh, not too tough or sophisticated, a bit naive even, but capable and determined when the chips are down. What a girl!

 

Also Kissy Suzuki (yum!), Tracy, Tiffany Case (sassy wench!), Rosie Carver (not much of a femme fatale but cor, she could fill a bikini!) & Mary Goodnight (ditto).

 

Obviously I'm not talking about talent here (except for Diana Rigg) but in all cases I'm talking about what Diana Rigg had in spades:

 

Male appeal - or to put it another way, "M-appeal."

 

(Don't boo me for that - that's actually how her name in The Avengers was chosen.)

Tiffany Case fills a bikini better than any Bond girl. Okay, Jane Seymour too. 

 

If I could chose one Bond girl from each Bond it would be

 

Claudine

Diana Rigg (Lazenby had one film but she is still one of my favorites)

Jane Seymour

Talisa Soto (love Cary and Maryam but Talisa I couldn't take my eyes off Talisa and forgot what a horrible actress she was)

Rosamund Pike

Berenice Marlohe (difficult because Eva and Olga were hot)

 

I also enjoyed Daniella, Honor (total milf), Ursula, Jill St. John, that chick from For Your Eyes Only, Cary and Maryam. Luciana Paluzzi (thank god for liberal Italian nudity)

 

For me, Claudine was the best. She was tough even though she spent most of the third act tied up (not that I kind) but when she gets untied by Peter Lorre, the first thing she grabs is a harpoon. My kind of girl.

Revisiting the Connery-era Bond girls, they were stunning weren't they? A certian encapsulation of women never to be seen again, but a wonderful era to have Bond girls as glamorous and sexy as they were.

Ursula Andress, Daniela Bianchi, Honor Blackman, Claudine Auger, and even Jill St. John. All fabulous ladies, but seriously NO Claudia Cardinale? Blasphemy!
