After my lovely SPECTRE Tattoo, last year, (Which is finally getting touched up this week), I've decided that I wish to get another Bond themed tattoo. I'm thinking of being a little adventurous this time, taking brilliant poster images from the classic Bond series, and turning them into a sleeve tattoo.

Although, I need a favour? Does anyone have a website they could direct me to, that has clean Bond poster art?

I'm thinking of booking it rather soon!

When you say "clean", are you just meaning that you need very high resolution posters or is it something else you have in mind?

I've had some luck doing image searches on Google and clicking on the "more sizes" option on the desired picture, which brings up every instance that Google has catologued that image on the web and sorts it out by size.  I just did a search and found a roughly 2400x3600 image of the Quantum of Solace poster.

I've found some high resolution stuff, too. I'm thinking of using the Thunderball 'Bond on Jet Pack' poster image as the main Tattoo piece, with villains, Aston Martin, Acrostar mini jet, etc, forming around it, using it as a base. In the past I've seen a good few clean versions of the Connery image, with the background removed, etc. High quality lone image with a white background, basically. I cannot for the life of me remember the site though, and I have a feeling I saw more Bond images in same vein. Removed from the poster pretty much.

I don't know if you've already seen this link, but they've got a Live and Let Die image that looks pretty clean.  Looks like there's a few more such images if you explore the site enough.  I think I saw one for Never Say Never Again as well.

There's a wealth of imagery to be found here: http://illustrated007.blogspot.com/

If you right click on the images and open them in a new window, most are much higher resolution than if you simply click on them and have them open as a pop-up.

I can spend hours on this site!

Hey guys!

If all goes to plan today, I may be getting two free tattoo's. My flat mates friend is apparently a really good Tattoo artist, so If all goes to plan, today I'm getting the Daniel Craig Skyfall gunbarrel stance in silhouette on the back of my left wrist, then on my right, a silhouette of the TARDIS.

The first part of my sleeve is booked for the 14th February. I'm just getting the Thunderball Jetpack image for now, then the artist is going to have a talk with me as i'm getting it, so we can decide on what to do next with it.

Very exciting times! I'll keep you posted. :)

Haha are you a doctor who fan? I think it would be cool to get the 007 logo with the gun and I would want it behind my ear, but at the same time that would hurt a lot. I want a tattoo and I would either get a Bond one or I would get a cancer ribbon on my wrist or I would want to get a dream catcher because those are really cool.

My flatmates friend didn't arrive yesterday, but it's been rearranged for sometime in the next few weeks. :D

In other news, I got my first Bond tattoo touched up today. Good as new!

As promised, here’s my brand new Tattoo. I’m eventually gonna expand it into a sleeve of classic James Bond artwork. This isn’t finished yet, I still needs colouring and more shading, but it’s looking pretty damn good so far.

Thank you very much, IceSkater. It's on my left. It's still healing at the moment, I'll have to book my next session soon.
