It's my birthday today (thanks!) and I just received the 007 Fragrance as a gift and wanted to give you my thoughts...

It's actually very, very nice - not what I was expecting at all ('tie in' products like this are usually cheap, and obviously so). The scent is most definitely a masculine one (d'uh) but not overpowering, like a lot of mens' aftershaves, and has a nice sweet, fruity smell.

The bottle is very cool, and worth keeping. The pattern on the glass is the same as that on a Walther PPK's grip, and the silver 'twist' cap is gadget-inspired.

Funny thing is: I can't imagine Daniel Craig wearing this. It's too retro and subtle. It's more Connery on the Bosphorus...

Anyway, I love it. Recommended.

Well firstly, Happy Birthday FOX! Hope you're having a great 00-day!

Second, thanks for that review - I am hoping to get some of the 007 fragrance for Christmas, and I've smelt it too and echo your sentiment, it does smell strong, and masculine, yet quite earthy and not over-powering on the nose.

I've also heard  a few other people say they were surprised how nice it is - what did they expect from a 007 fragrance? Cyanide? Good to hear it's getting good reviews!

Thankfully, they don't need to use Roger Moore in this marketing "Trifle over-powering, your scent."

Enjoy the rest of you day! :)

Thank you very much.

Yes, it's nice. I'd wear it even if it wasn't 007.
