**Spoilers**

Was Kincade sitting in the dark for 30 years waiting for Bond to come back?

And he covered all the furniture in sheets too!

Where did he appear from? Any ideas?

Good thought DaveBond - one of those questions you never think about unless you really look into the film!

I have no answer - either he has an outhouse somewhere local to the Lodge, or he lives in a certain area of the house itself, seperate from the main living quarters that are covered? Sort of like an Alfred Pennyworth, living somewhere in Wayne Manor, to Bruce Wayne's Bond at Skyfall Lodge.

Question is though, after it's destroyed - where does Kincade go next!? He should get an Italian villa, due to MI6 being responsible or destroying his home, and his life, just like Mathis got in 'Quantum Of Solace'. Maybe in Bond 24, Kincade and Bond meet up again on the Italian coast in his new apartment. "Welcome to Italy!" :P

As a caretaker he will come and go, look after things. He´s living nearby, making his rounds. Quite nice fellow, by the way. You can drop by anytime for a cuppa.

Really liked his character, not like any we've had before either.

On a slightly related note, Bond's house is my idea of heaven, would love to live somewhere like that.

That would be my retirement sorted out.

Thanks. Yeah, he seemed to be there just as Bond arrived with M. Surely he doesn't go the house every day. Also, Bond should have contacted him to warn him that he was coming?

Kincade isn't really there, he's the ghost of Skyfall. That's why he's no big help in the little chapel, he can't actually touch Silva and scaring him to death is also not an option; that man has to clean his upper jaw prosthesis every evening, what would he be afraid of?

I'm guessing he lives near the lodge, saw the DB5 arriving or parked outside and went to investigate.
