On a whim, I ordered Casino Royale from Amazon. I noticed something peculiar in chapter two where the CIA was entitled the Combined Intelligence Agency instead of the Central Intelligence Agency. Can someone clarify this? Could it be because Vintage is an imprint or offshoot of the Jonathan Cape editions?
Also, what are people's overall thoughts on the new editions as a whole?

The 1953 Macmillan U.S. hardcover edition has "Combined".
If one of the mods is reading this and has the time or inclination, can they please change the title thread to "Combined Intelligence Agency?" or some variant therefore so that we know what this thread is about. Thanks!

I did want to know what CBn members thought of the recent editions as well as to my first question.
