Michael G. Wilson usually has a cameo in the Bond films, was there one in Skyfall?

Yes, he's briefly visible in the background when Tanner opens the door of the room where M is inspecting the coffins.

I am glad his cameo's are not like Stan Lee's in the Marvel films. As awesome as Stan Lee is, his cameos can sometimes take me out of the movie. With the exception of Casino Royale I usually have to really be looking to find Wilson's appearances.

He's sitting on Bond's left (i.e. right of shot). Medium length dark hair.

One thing I did notice in the scorpion scene was a guy in a fedora who looked a lot like Michael Palin. But surely if Michael Palin had done a cameo we'd have heard about it.

I missed it too. Now I have to pay attention to find his cameo.

Wow good spot, I didn't notice him at all. I thought it was cut from the film altogether. Just another reason to go see the film again.
