I first saw this posted on the Superhero Hype forum and the final sentence made me smile. The obituary of a man after our own hearts:

Posted Image

Reminds me in a way of when musician Warren Zevon was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2002, he said he was at peace with it but just hoped he'd live long enough to see the new Bond movie. Fans 'til the end.

Sad, and yet kind of beautiful. I wouldn't want to say mine won't include something similar.

Very special indeed... Just goes to show how far Fleming's/Bond's hand can reach.

Pity to think he passed away just before the US release.

And to think the poor man clung to life just so he could see DAD!

Well Zevon always did have a great sense of irony.

Hats off to that man, may he rest in peace. Very touching and heart warming for all the right reasons.
