At the end of Skyfall, when M was in Bond's arms, do you believe Bond was crying? Or it was just his sweat dripping? I know Daniel's been asked this question and he said it's really up to the viewers to decide.

What is your opinion? Do you believe Bond cried when M died?

Yes I do, but Craig is right there's enough room for doubt so that the viewer decides for him/herself.

Yes. That is what I took from it when I saw it.

I think he was both dripping wet from the deep water he got into and crying.

I thought he was crying, I mean M was like a mother figure to him. I am interpreting it as crying because at that scene I really wanted to cry. I had tears in my eyes.

I don't understand how anyone can believe that is sweat. I mean it is pretty clear he was emotional about her death.

That's because Craig's Bond is human, and humans are emotional - this is his boss dying after all who's done nothing but fight for him and look after him for god-knows how many years!

I reckon he was dry enough in the chapel not to be dripping with water, and in that case he wouldn't be that hot he'd be sweating so much it's going to roll down his face.

That was certainly a tear shed for M's passing. That's all you need, one or two single tears. He never openly cried (that we saw), this was pure emotion showing as he tried to hold it together but couldn't fight the tear(s) back. A great moment.

I've seen Skyfall twice now (once in IMAX) and they are definitely tears. He was crying, without a doubt. IMAX-sized tears. He even kissed her for goddsake.

On first viewing, I thought he was crying. On second viewing, I considered that it might just be water dripping from his hair. On third viewing, I concluded he was crying.

I don't understand how anyone can believe that is sweat, since he just got out of swimming in near freezing water.
