Of the Craig era as a prequel to the Connery films? Curious if anyone else thinks of these films as I do.

It's interesting to speculate, but no I do not think so. Specifically, Skyfall seems to make it seem possible and not possible at the same time.

No, I don't look at it that way at all. I can't really look at Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace as prequels to a film made nearly 50 years prior to their release.

Neither do I, but remember the strangeness of the Star Wars prequels vs. the originals. So in a way it's possible, but I don't think it makes sense.

I think when 'Casino Royale' was new out, I sometimes thought this could be the origins of the agent, in a surreal world this is before 'Dr.No'...but as the films have developed and Craig's Bond has developed, I don't think that now, he's his own Bond and not a prequel to Connery.
