I know that this could be posted in a thread, but I really need to let everyone see this as opposed to it being stashed in some thread. Please just let me.

I often come on the forums. I look, sometimes post.
Just moments ago I saw Skyfall. I barely knew anything about the film in terms of organization and plot, the only thing I knew was from pictures, trailers, etc.

The film was bloody amazing. This is — without a doubt — one of IF NOT thee best Bond film of all time. The story, the characters, the cinematography, the story telling, the music, the little references to other Bond films, the emotion...
Many might not be able to admit this, but in the end I was crying. This was the first time I've ever truly cried watching a film.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to all CBn members. I didn't really contribute to any conversations, but watching you speculate and watching the film grow by detail, by picture, by video, by time remaining has been absolutely extraordinary. You have made this one of the best experiences of my life, and I will never forgot the first time I watched Skyfall when I was 16; being glued to the seat, watching this man named James Bond soar his way across the screen... It's everything combined together why I love James Bond so much.

Thank you, CBn members. It has been amazing. Cheers to James Bond and cheers to another 50 years!

From your comments it sounds like this was the first Bond film production you followed. Am I correct in assuming that? Also, was this the first one you saw in theaters?

I only ask because the first Bond film I really got to follow it's production and engage in discussion about it was TWINE, and that will make it special for me. Although in some aspects I think the film they were putting together sounded far better than the film we got, even though I still enjoyed it.

I saw Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace in the theatre before. Casino Royale is what got me interested in Bond, Quantum of Solace followed and I loved it as well. I followed Quantum of Solace, but not as closely as Skyfall. It was the movie I was truly anticipating the day after Quantum of Solace, guess you can sort of say me becoming "a guy who likes Bond flicks" to a die hard fan. I had time to grow as a Bond fan and became more accustomed to Daniel Craig.

Skyfall will be very special to me, as TWINE was for you.

Yeah I just saw Skyfall today and I have to admit I was close to tears. It was definitely sad, but the movie was amazing.

Cheers Dominic!! SO glad Skyfall was such a memorable theatrical experience for you!! Reminds me of my first theatrical Bond experience, which was a special advance screening of Goldeneye back when I was 17...(the first Bond I actually ever saw was A View To A Kill on television back when I was about 8)// Still remember it like it was yesterday...Cheers indeed to another 50 glorious years of Bond!

The first one I followed closely was Casino Royale, which was will always be special moment when seeing it for the first time in theaters. I actually didn't follow QOS very closely but I followed Skyfall almost as closely as CR. Seeing Skyfall in theaters was a similar experience as CR, exceeded my expectations. Glad to hear that you had a great theatrical experience.
