Beginning in the Bronsan era, and into the Craig era, the headquarters of MI6 was portrayed as being the actual headquarters at Vauxhall Cross in London.

Of course,
Spoiler

It is my impression that this is an entirely new location. I'm guessing that someone who knows London can tell from the scene on the roof, from the landmarks Bond is looking at, where this is located. But I don't know London at all.

Is this the "Regents Park" location of the novels?

It's almost the look of the buildings used for the Moore era, with all the exterior shots used. I'm not sure of the building - was it the MoD building used for exteriors?

Shame that MI6 may not be used again, then again it may be where M's new office is. Thinking of all the ultra-flash modern gimmicks seen previous Bond films, maybe his new office is actually in MI6.

We see a simlilar office for Judi Dench's M in 'GoldenEye', and that's the MI6 building.

ONLY in a super spy type movie where you can get away with that, and not have a problem. Don't have to say that not real, it can never happen like that in the real world. Close to the real world type spy movies can never get away with that, and one would have to understand why in order to write the storyline and make the movie.

Vauxhall Cross in London will still be used in close to the real world type spy movies and novels, since that is where the British Secret Intelligence Service headquater is certainally. I would say think of the locations that have been mentioned in the John Gardner James Bond novels, the Victory Game James Bond role playing games, the John Le Carre spy novels from the 70s and early 80s and the past locations that were really where British Secret Intelligence Service headquater was.
