Happy Birthday Yaphet Kotto! Even though you were the villain in my least favourite Bond Film, you still portrayed an interesting villain. Liked you more as Kananga, than as Mr. Big though.

yeah I liked him allot as a Bond Villian.. he was very classy and cool!! I have to admit though the way he died..was corny;)

Yeah I loved Yaphet style of Villian !! he did a great job.. very cool.. very sauve! He tried to be more laid back and smile in bond's face.. and not be a pyscho nut case like Zorin..

I put Dr. Kananga up there as one of the Best Villians! Different.. but thats what he brought good /interesting real acting to the role..

It is hard to be calm as a villian..then a nut job! Yaphet did a great job!:cool:

It strikes me that Rogers term as Bond was bookended by two great villains - Yaphet as Kananga in LALD and then 12 years later Christopher Walken as Zorin in AVTAK.

I'll agree with that.

It's unfortunate though that the killing of both villains were poorly prepared and executed (no pun intended). It's way too obvious that dummies were used in both character demises.

One could say that with these two bookending villains, one rose to his death while the other fell.

which gave me an idea... WE should look online for a "Face" which has a Raised Eyebrow!!!
