Just curious if anyone thinks Roger would have played Bond any differently had he followed on from The Saint rather than The Persuaders! where the emphasis was more on humour?

Well yell when he play the SuperSpy after his Saint & Persuaders days he played Bond well not bad. The founder of James Bond Cubby Broccoli. Was hoping to have him for the role. He did well with his career. Don't forget he played Sherlock Holmes once. Well that I got to say. He reuniting the Saint character but not playing Simon Templer but uncredited & something to do with crew member.

I say no. He would still have been following Connery and has said he knew he didn't want to try and copy what he did in the role. Moore would have had his own interpretation set even if he'd have had the role in '62.
