That's right, it is - that's the last stroke she makes before "All done."

To be fair, considering the length of the film, most of this stuff would just make the movie longer and not necessarily better. And if they used alternate shots/lines it would be different, but not necessarily better when enjoying the movie for the first time in the cinema.

The Eve shaving shot is present

It isn't. The only shot of Eve shaving the side of Bonds face is when she does his neck. The one where she shaves the side of his cheek, isn't there.

it also lacks the scene where Bond drinks a glass in an hotel bar in shangaï (the scene can be seen in the shangaï vlog).

Oh yes!

Good spot.

All this does make for a wondering as to just how long the film could have been if all this footage was deemed necesary to the film.

Hitchcock had all his films edited in his head prior to any filming such that he deemed the actual filming process to be the boring part of film making - His film was already complete. I recently saw extras on the The Italian Job dvd where they said all footage was edited into the movie apart from some ballet dance between the minis halfway through the main chase.

Obviously there are many ways to make a movie but I would love to see all this edited footage in a DVD at some point - no doubt it will be upon the third release of the film in the Sooper Deelux Version.

I have a dim memory of a pic of Bond (and Eve?) sitting at a terrace (for surveillance?) in Istanbul. Does it remind something to anyone?

That doesn't ring any bells, I'm afraid. It may well be a publicity photo that I'm not aware of, but I think the first sight of Eve was always planned to be when she pulls up in the Range Rover.

Quite possible indeed. Or maybe just a shot of Craig having a break on stage between scenes. Ah well...

I'm farily certain it's in there. At least in some versions because there is some extremely poor quality bootlegged footage at a location I WILL NOT disclose that has that scene. It's very short though.

I'm sure that scene is there. I've seen it 3 times now. It's when Bond gets a text giving Patrices flight number.

May be we'll get a "director's cut" on DVD or Blu-ray?

The scene is the bar is there, but Bond doesn't drink. He just gets a text/looks moody.

Anyone remember the shot of Severine at a bar, smiling? It was in one of the TV Spots. Looked like she was wearing a summer dress. Whatever happened to that scene?

In the script pages attached to one of the call sheets, there was a scene in M's apartment before Bond came up where she was greeted by her cat. She says "I know, I know. It was a long day."

I think I know the obvious answer, but just checking - the below still is only for marketing purposes isn't it? Or for the Omega advertising?

Doesn't seem to have a chance for a scene like that in Istanbul - very well shot photo though, pity it wasn't a scene!

Not sure I remember that. If you find it, please post a link and I'll have a look.

Around 0:25.

Oh, and the shot of M standing looking down from a window was cut. Something else in that spot.

Ah, yes, I remember thinking that shot was missing when I was watching the film actually. It's Severine looking at herself in the mirror, while waiting for Bond on the yacht. An alternate shot was used in the film, I believe.

Good call on M looking down from her bunker office too.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if some scenes between Bond and Severine were not savagely cut... I don't have evidences of that, but it seems to me that their encounter feels terribly rushed, I would not be surprised if a lot of that ended on the cutting floor...

I hope that we´ll get the deleted scenes this time. But I think SKYFALL is perfect as it is. Bloating it with more scenes would not be the way to go IMO. And didn´t Mendes have final cut anyway?

Nothing was lost from the narrative or character development in the final film, so I'm happy with what was cut as I've not got a yearning for more of anything in the film - except more Berenice, but that can't be helped.

I think the film was more than 2 and a half hours. That usually makes the cinemas to take off one exhibition (from three in one day, to two; or from 4, to 3) and, obviously that has a meaning in the box-office. So, they cut the film to 140 minutes and, quite surely, we´ll had the cut scenes in the future...

I believe the version we already have is the "director's cut".

I never really realized just how many scenes had been changed or removed. That just goes to show that we didn't really miss out on anything much.

DVD Extras should be nice this time around though!

Exactly, plus the director's cut is most likely the one shown in theaters. I would hope we get some deleted scenes on the DVD/Bluray. Hope the first DVD/Bluray release is more like CR than QOS in terms of special features.

I would like to see an extended version include some scenes that were cut.....I think those cut lines/scenes would help to make more sense...it would likely be 3 hrs though
