I was so excited to rip open the new bond game and get right to it. one thing that made me really happy about legends was that the skyfall levels would come along later in DLC. I decided i wanted to be 100% spoiler free for skyfall, i'm avoiding even the trailer, so a bond game that focuses on older bond missions sounds like a safe bet.

I pop in the disk and get treated to a feast of bond! so great to finally see the gun barrel again, although the music seemed kinda weak. the intro screen was pretty awesome! getting to see oddjob, blofeld, jaws and others was turning this into a real celebration of my favorite film series.

but then

the game starts, i'm anticipating moonraker. suddenly i'm looking at naomi harris, her and dame judi dench are frantically discussing a train. it hits me. NO NO NO. i skip it, but i had heard enough already.

now i've woken up half drunk it would seem in a tranquil, probably secluded beach home and the phone's ringing. i'm not sure if i should even bother with this game until skyfall comes out.

can anyone help me here? am i going to get any more spoilers? maybe i have to just stick with the mi6 opps and multiplayer.

Sorry to hear that Kevin - as Pete say's, that's all you'll get for 'Skyfall' now. Sorry it's been so blunt and spoilt things for you - but I assure that the bits you have seen account for a far greater picture in a much bigger context - that game sequene has been modified in parts for the game, so you're not seeing it all as it may or may not play on screen.

I'm going to play my game after 'Skyfall' once I have seen it. Not because of spoilers, but simply so I feel I've got all the Bond fix I need before launching into a new game...plus my game time is now 007 DVD time before 'Skyfall' hits cinemas.

Yep. Besides, everything from that sequence has already been shown in the trailers, unless you've miraculously managed to avoid all trailers, TV spots, interviews, etc. pertaining to the upcoming film.

other than that, pretty much the best video gaming experience of my life. playing goldfinger levels, they're breath taking! i'm such a bond fan boy lol

So as expected they are skipping some of the best parts, i.e., the PTS of goldfinger, the golf game etc.

I am going to buy this from my local game store and play it when I get home from college. I think this game does look like it ripped off Call of Duty, but I am a Bond fan and I need this game.

Any way I can skip the first Skyfall stuff ?? maybe the gun barrel on the game is the same of the Skyfall , right ??

the gun barrel is a generic video game one and comes before the main menu. after you select to start a 1P game it will play the skyfall video, you'll see naomi harris driving a jeep or something, just hit a (or x) to skip to the first level. as far as i know that the only part of skyfall in the game as of right now
