Kate O'Mara is uncredited in the TV produced "Welcome to Japan Mr Bond".
On IMDB her character is called Miss Moneypenny's assistent

But couldn't she be seen as Loelia Posonby, Bond personal secretary?
I'd like to think so. She's got the same intel (in that documentary) as Moneypenny does.
Some unofficial way to get the character in a visual way in Bond history.
The predecessor of Britt Ekland's Mary Goodnight.

What do you think?

I haven't seen that entire TV production, so I can't claim to have more than a hazy idea about it. For what it's worth I think you can see her as any character you like, Ponsonby, Goodnight or Smallbone. It's hardly a central question that could be answered once and for all time.

Well, Mary Goodnight was all but passed over by EON (except for being a one-movie dunce), so I think we can write her off.... and Penelope Smallbone was just invented for "Octopussy".

So, Loelia Ponsonby?
