I'm looking for a track of Barry's rendition of the Bond theme from MOONRAKER, which presumably would have to be isolated from the PTS or Bondola scenes. Would any gracious person on the boards happen to have a recording of such that could PM me a link? If possible, I'd be very grateful.

gkgyver did a re-recording (using sample libraries mixed with the original). Ask him.

Are you refering to the same piece of music that is found in FRWL, YOLT as well as DAF?

No, not '007.' I mean the actual James Bond theme, found in the PTS and Bondola chase.

Awesome, thanks very, very much, Shark. Best I've heard without the ability to have the original masters (which is heartbreaking).

Okay, how does one turn the above link into an mp3? I'm clueless!

Your best bet at is to download DVDVideoSoft's free Youtube to mp3 converter (remember to select 320kbps). When gkgyver logs back on, you can ask him for a higher quality version.

"Freefall" is available on CD (various Silva Screen compilations, Bond back in action 2, The ultimate James Bond film music collection, James Bond - the gold edition), recorded in 2000 by Nic Raine (John Barry's orchestrator from 1985 onwards).

Unfortunately it's not a very good arrangement and recording. Nic Raine's Bond releases for Silva Screen Records are mostly disappointing.
