[Poor Man's JB]

A 007 fan in Canada is producing his own line of ICON-inspired miniature figures. Cast in resin as opposed to white metal, they feature a level of sculpted detail and final finishing on par with the Corgi line.

Here are a few examples (Pussy [shown w/ICON Connery], Largo, and Vesper):








Frankly, most of these figures are far more dynamic than many of the static poses ICON chose. Given the small production quantities for each are quite small for each, he nonetheless has a pretty impressive range of characters already -- with an emphasis on Bond Girls -- and more to come.

He hasn't shown any yet but lists two: one that supposedly resembles the Connery and Moore ICONS plus another based on CR which I would assume is more dynamic looking than the others.

I offered to help get word out about his work but by his own admission his photos to date have been pretty poor so I'm shooting the stuff as I get it.
