Hey guys, this should go in Collecting, but feel it will reach the mainstream fans here in General Discussion!

The new book by Sir Roger Moore, 'Bond On Bond', is due out the 4th of October for us I believe.

Most interesting! Especially in regard to Sir Roger´s comments on the other Bonds!

I guess you can already get it from amazon UK, but in the States you have to wait until October. Ordered mine from the former.

Interesting, whats the back story on this? Did Moore do this on his own or did EON ask him to? Did he need to ask EON to write it or at least use pictures?

Anyway sounds like a good read to me.

Nice.

I just wish that instead of Shirley Eaton's 'Golden girl' image, which I know is iconic, they could have slipped in either Dalton...fine, or maybe Lazenby.

Such a shame they are moslty overlooked in the grand scale of all things Bond.

Dalton and Lazenby feature on the back cover of the book. As it is Bond on every aspect of Bond it was felt a car and a girl ought to be on the cover too.

I would agree, I don't think it was necessary to have Roger Moore on the cover twice, why not Dalton or Lazenby instead? The photo of Dalton holding the huge sniper rifle would have looked great there IMO.

Fair point, but its not an autobiography. Just not the cover I would hope for "the ulimate book of 50 years of James Bond movies." I just got to keep in mind not to judge a book by its cover.

Agree with SecretAgentFan--Roger did write the book, after all! I also agree that a better montage could have been assembled, and I would like to have seen all six of them on the front cover--but no problem if there were two photos of Roger
.
